Advance at your own pace and do step wherever you want along roads sublime. Here are our ten trips in a motorhome favorite in the world.
1 Route 1 (Iceland)
Completed in 1974, the Circular Road forms a long loop of 1,339 km through volcanic landscape features of the island, to discover it from one end to the other. Lava fields in the lunar pace along the road between the airport Keflavik and Reykjavik , the capital, offers a promising taste of what awaits you. Many beautiful sites along the way, such as glacial lake Jökulsárlón on the south coast, on its pristine waters float huge icebergs from Vatnajökull, the largest ice cap of the European continent. Traffic is moderate on the whole trip and camping sites abound: in short, an ideal route.
Summer (June 15 to September 15), boat trips are organized on the Jökulsárlón.
2 Great Ocean Road (Australia)
Why shun the most famous routes when it's really the best? Take the Great Ocean Road in Australia . Its 273 km of asphalt stretching along the coast of the State of Victoria are dotted with exceptional sites, such as limestone peaks of the Twelve Apostles and the Great Otway National Park, a paradise for koalas. We can then head north and ride indefinitely towards the center of the country - that memorable journey happily occupy an entire year.

3 Islands of Mull and Coll (Scotland)
Britain applying severe restrictions on camping, we must move away from traditional channels to regain some freedom and we quickly ... in Scotland ! The islands of Mull and Coll in the Inner Hebrides, is particularly attractive with its 480 km of coastline and mountains bordering the 1,000 m. 4 From Cape to Cairo (Egypt South Africa)
Above all, know that it is necessary to have about three months to complete this African journey. Choose a motorhome 4 × 4 able to venture on bumpy roads and face immense deserts. Journey through 11 countries, and to discover the unmissable sights (Victoria Falls, Kilimanjaro, etc.). The most difficult passage is that the Nubian Desert in Sudan. 5 Rockies (Canada)
Stretching over 230 km through the national parks of Banff and Jasper, the Icefields Parkway is one of the most beautiful roads in the world. What a pleasure to witness the sunrise on Lake Louise, mythical glacial lake whose still waters reflect the surrounding mountain ranges! Along the way, enjoy hot and trample steep glaciers sources. You may elk lounging by the road or, with any luck, will see a brown bear. Take your time and plan at least one night in a campground declined to immerse yourself in the heart of these unforgettable landscapes.

6 crisscross New Zealand

7 From Mannheim to Prague (Czech Republic-Germany)
If mountains and wide open spaces mean nothing to you, go on the Castle Road driving your motorhome. As its name suggests, this cultural route can admire the Baroque and Rococo architecture of over 70 castles and palaces and medieval towns like Bamberg and Kronach. Stretching over 1000 km between the Bavaria and Prague , it also passes through breathtaking scenery - Valley Nektar, plain Hohenlohe - which makes it one of the most beautiful roads in Europe.
Plan a stop in Rothenburg, which would be the best preserved medieval town in Germany (more information on www.rothenburg.de ).
8 Safari in Kaokoveld (Namibia)
Few people know this, but Namibia is among the most beautiful countries in the world. Rent a 4 × 4 adapted to the journey that awaits you in Windhoek, and head of the Etosha National Park. This reserve, which is part of the Kalaharin basin is known for its rich wildlife. At the Angolan border, the Epupa Falls (37 m high) are the perfect place to watch the sunset, before continuing to the Spitzkoppe, imposing granite massif of volcanic origin. You drive on roads or rocky dusty tracks, inconvenience that will seem well under mild charms offered by Namibia.

9 From San Francisco to Los Angeles (United States)
The United States have some of the road routes the most attractive in the world, and that of the Highway 1 to 1 055 km across California - is certainly the most beautiful. Pacific Whale attractions of Disneyland, to the legendary San Francisco and Los Angeles, it has something for all tastes. But travel this provides primarily an extraordinary feeling of freedom.

10 Garden Route (South Africa)
Whether you're looking sea or rather mountains, you will be filled by the Garden Route. Connecting Cape Town to Port Elizabeth, this route winds through the towering mountains Outeniqua and the Indian Ocean. After passing through beautiful vineyards, you can go to scenic hiking and whale watching in Hermanus. As for the beach Plettenberg Bay, it stands out as a must.
