When I visited Dubai I, of course, visited many places, trendy hotels, beaches, upscale neighborhoods, but also the famous Burj Khalifa (Burj meaning tower in Arabic). I briefly mentioned in my article about Dubai , but I decided to dedicate an article.
First, for whom its not talking, Burj Khalifa is simply the tallest tower in the world. This tower is (obviously) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is located in the district of DownTown Burj Khalifa. This area is truly spectacular, you can wander for hours. In addition to this round, you will find many hotels, including the famous The Address, Dubai Mall, the largest mall in the world, a maze of shops. You will also find the Burj Khalifa Lake with its impressive Dubai Fountain water show with real jets of the world's tallest water.

For the record
For the story Burj Khalifa was originally not be called Burj Khalifa Burj Dubai but. In fact, the tower was renamed when it was inaugurated by the name of Sheikh Khalifa, Emir of Abu Dhabi and president of the United Arab Emirates. In a financial crisis, the Emirate of Dubai has been hampered in its tracks construction unbridled by a lack of money. Dubai does not have the financial means to complete his great project of Downtown Burj Khalifa. So the neighboring emirate of Abu Dhabi who came to the aid of Dubai to refinance up to 10 billion dollars a crazy project in Dubai. In return the tower been renamed Burj Khalifa.

The elevator starts, even if you can not see outside, we feel the lift to pick up speed to reach its maximum speed of 18 meters per second (world record). The indicator stages scrolls figures to a pretty impressive visit. Attention to ears, they get clogged very quickly and you will slightly hurt.
Once up, you arrive in a large room, fully glazed and offering exceptional views. You can also go out on a small terrace.Raise your head, you have a strange feeling seeing that it stays high, almost 400 meters. The height of the tower is really impressive. From this view you can almost see everything. Firstly, the roof of the Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa Lake, the city is its numerous towers (which you shall appear any less large suite), the distance you will see "The Wolrd" artificial islands in Dubai and then to horizon the palm jumeirah. Many "interactive twins" are available and tell you different places in the city you see, you can even see what they look like at night, thanks to the screens of these binoculars.
